Daniel Webster Harrington remembered on the Westford Fallen Firefighter's Memorialvu 100 fois"The Fire Department suffered it first Line of Duty Death on November 7, 1909. Lt. Daniel Harrington suffered critical Head Injuries while fighting a Barn Fire at J.A. Healy’s in Graniteville on November 1st. After being struck in the head, he was brought immediately home, where he was given the best medical care of the time by a local Doctor, but Lt. Harrington remained in a coma for 6 days and succumbed to his injuries on the 7th. Lt. Harrington was 29 years old and was recently married. He lived on Boston Road. H
